- Developed Energy Analysis Tools that extract data from different HUD programs, normalize dissimilar data field types and provide comprehensive reports that allow a visual understanding of energy consumption. This program is available to authorized users through an intranet web interface. Languages: MySQL, PHP, JQuery and CSS

Recommended Alternative Energy Solutions based upon energy usage, projected fuel costs savings. Wrote a grant that was funded for a 22 unit Elderly Housing facility. The unit is in its 2nd year of operation.
- Prepare maps utilizing ArcView with data from any number of programs for a spatial representation of information. This is a spatial analysis tool that integrates with databases, MS Office programs along with PHP, .NET, Adobe Air and other languages for diverse reporting options
- Developed and implemented many web based applications to centralize data from disparate non index-able programs. Languages for Data Extract: PHP, MySQL utilizing Regex

Designed and launched ProvidenceRI.com in April of 1996. The biggest question was “why?”, the second was “what is the World Wide Web?”
Our first month we had 30,000 hits and 12 years later we have leveled off at an average 2.5 million hits monthly.
ProvidenceRI.com has spun off many websites and now it serves as a portal to all City Services, six of the sites were developed and are supported by me

Yearly, since 2005 I have taught PHP and MySql at the annual conference of the National Association of Government Webmasters. Last class review of my instruction was 4.8 out of 5.

Pioneered with the State of RI, a project to deliver coordinated RSS feeds from all online databases. Our feeds were developed in Perl. The project is now known as “REX” and it’s ongoing mission is to deliver “a complete, one-stop, portal to serve both RI Government and local municipalities”
Developed a database in 1994 to track Economic Development projects and loans. I am pleased to say that this database has been in use daily since. It is now the oldest functioning database in the City of Providence.
Prepared two presentations for the 1999 Annual New England American Planning Association Conference one on GIS needs assessment and the other on the experience of implementing and running a municipal web site
